I now have tried to remove the old installation before installing the new. The same has happened, but honestly, I would rather use another compiler, so I can debug and get better error messages. It was just the first install option that would actually work for me.

It says so in the logging when I start up my game plus TextFormat and mp3 files were suddenly unsupported (I upgraded from 3.0).

I wanted to upgrade, because I made a small game that is basically done, but I suddenly noticed that the game crashes, when I play a sound that is loaded as number 11 or above (I have tried switching around and removing sounds). I recall it working before, but I must be wrong.

When I install raylib 4.0 with tcc, I get raylib 2.0-dev instead.

Fun little game with a neat core idea.

To make buff more useful. Could it be allowed to choose column or row when you are only filling in one square? After I had used it, I only had one row left to fill, so I didn't benefit from it.

The x in multipliers are usually written after the number. I especially got confused by the x-3.0. It looks like it will be the number of squares minus three rather than multiplied by minus three.

Fun, but the crosshairs are way off making much more difficult to aim while moving.

Personally, I think the idea fun, but the novelty quickly wears off. Others may think differently of course.

Very neat idea and great progression: I always felt the that the previous levels was a sufficient foundation for the next. By the way, is the yellow character in the picture a planned hero or an enemy?

Criticism: I get that you want to give the heroes personalities. This adds to the enjoyment. However, I like to discover mechanics on my own, so I would prefer if they didn't spoil every mechanic right away (of course you have to convey the controls somehow). Maybe they could give hints after a certain amount of time has passed.

Undo and redo would be greatly appreciated, though I realize that takes some work to implement.

Thanks for the experience and I hope that you can make a full game from this!
